About:
The SUNY Old Westbury Women’s Volleyball team recently took the court for a special cause during their annual Dig Pink Night, raising awareness and support for the fight against breast cancer.
The evening brought students, families, and fans together in a sea of pink as the Panthers played not just for the win, but for those who have fought—and continue to fight—breast cancer. Every serve, spike, and dig symbolized strength, hope, and unity in support of this important cause.
Events like Dig Pink Night highlight how athletics can serve as a powerful platform for compassion and community impact. Through teamwork on and off the court, the Old Westbury volleyball program continues to show what it means to play for a cure.
