Northport Cheer is proud to share the success of their recent partnership with Hope for Youth for a school supply drive! Hope for Youth, based in Amityville, NY, is a remarkable organization dedicated to supporting children who have lost their parents to substance abuse or are in safer home environments while their parents undergo rehabilitation. These children deserve all the support we can give them, especially as they gear up for the new school year.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of their community, the school supply drive was a tremendous success. The Varsity and JV cheerleaders—19 from Varsity and 11 from JV—came together to collect essential supplies for these deserving children. In total, the cheerleaders volunteered 20 hours of their time to ensure that the children at Hope for Youth are well-equipped for their academic journey.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed to this great cause. Your donations have made a significant impact, providing the necessary tools for these children to succeed in school and beyond.
