About:

James Wilson Young Middle School helped to spread awareness of childhood cancers and raise funds for research during the school’s annual St. Baldrick’s event this March. Many students, residents and staff members volunteered to shed their locks as the school collectively raised $17,283 to benefit the cause. This year’s fundraiser was once again held in honor of current eighth-grader Marco Daidone, who suffers from osteosarcoma.
