About:
This past weekend, the Croton-Harmon High School Softball team proudly participated in the 73rd Little League Parade, further demonstrating their unwavering commitment to supporting youth sports and their local community. The team’s presence at the event is part of a long-standing tradition, where each year, the team takes the opportunity to engage with younger athletes and give back to the community that has supported them.
At this year’s parade, Captain and senior shortstop, Natalie Barillaro, shared her personal journey in Little League and reflected on the profound impact the experience has had on her life, both as an athlete and as a leader. Her heartfelt speech resonated with attendees, as she spoke about how her time in Little League shaped her into the player and person she is today.
This event is a perfect example of how Croton-Harmon Softball fosters relationships with local youth programs, building a bridge between generations of athletes. By participating in the parade, the team not only celebrated their own achievements but also inspired future Tigers to pursue their passions and stay involved in sports.
A special thank you to Natalie Barillaro for her moving words and to all those who contributed to making the day a success. This event is yet another reminder that Croton-Harmon Softball is about more than just excelling on the field—it’s about creating positive change and strengthening ties within the community.
Here’s to supporting the future of Croton-Harmon sports and continuing to nurture young athletes for years to come!
