About:
🥶 Team Sachem did it again!
For another year, the Sachem community came together with unstoppable spirit, heart, and courage — plunging into icy waters and raising an incredible $35,000 for Special Olympics.
This outstanding achievement once again crowns Sachem as the top fundraiser and the reigning Cool School Challenge champions. The tradition of excellence continues, powered by students, staff, families, coaches, alumni, and community partners who show up year after year to support an amazing cause.
A Community With Heart
What makes this accomplishment truly special is the unity behind it. The effort wasn’t just about taking the plunge — it was about teamwork, generosity, and a shared commitment to inclusion. Every dollar raised helps Special Olympics provide life-changing sports programs, leadership opportunities, and year-round support for athletes across the region.
Leading With Purpose
Team Sachem’s impact goes far beyond fundraising totals. Their dedication reflects the best of what school communities can be: compassionate, service-driven, and ready to step up for others. Whether plunging into freezing water, cheering from the sidelines, or contributing to the cause, every member of the Sachem Family played a role in this success.
Proud of Our Sachem Family
The Polar Plunge has become a powerful annual tradition — and once again, Team Sachem rose to the top. With their unmatched enthusiasm and generous spirit, they continue to set the standard for community leadership and service.
