About:
This past weekend, members of the Student Government from @CougarNationJFK and the Lakeside Student Council from @MerrickUFSD joined forces to make a positive impact on our community. These dedicated students spent their time tending to the gardens at Hewlett House, demonstrating the power of collaboration and community service.
The students worked tirelessly, weeding, planting, and beautifying the gardens to create a serene and welcoming environment. Their efforts not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of Hewlett House but also provided a sense of pride and accomplishment for everyone involved.
By coming together from different schools, these student leaders showed that teamwork knows no boundaries. They learned valuable lessons in cooperation, leadership, and the importance of giving back to the community. Their hard work and dedication are truly inspiring and set a great example for others to follow.
We are incredibly proud of the Student Government members from @CougarNationJFK and the Lakeside Student Council members from @MerrickUFSD for their commitment to making a difference. This project is a testament to their character and the positive impact they are making in our community.
Thank you to all the students who participated and to everyone who supports our young leaders. Your efforts are making our community a better place, one garden at a time!
