The Tewksbury Girls Soccer team is using its time on the field to support an important cause as the team hosts Methuenin a special Pancreatic Cancer Benefit Game.
The matchup will take place on Thursday, October 1 at 7:00 PM at Doucette Stadium in Tewksbury, with players and fans encouraged to wear purple in recognition of pancreatic cancer awareness.
Under the message “Kick for a Cause,” the event is about much more than the final score. The game provides student-athletes with an opportunity to use their sport to raise awareness and bring their school community together in support of those affected by pancreatic cancer.
