About:
Students at Deauville Gardens West Elementary School, under the advisement of social worker Angela Greaves, created more than 1,300 Thanksgiving cards for the Circle of Love Ministry in Copiague. From Nov. 16-20, students volunteered during their lunch and recess periods to write kind messages, decorate and draw pictures in the cards. The handmade cards will be used to decorate the Thanksgiving dinner table at the ministry and will be added to food baskets.
