Mercy House Food and Clothing Pantry
During Thanksgiving and Christmas alone, thousands of families who cannot afford to put dinner on their tables are given groceries to do so and on Thanksgiving Morning and Christmas Morning, warm meals and presents are personally delivered to these families. The preparation for these events take a massive effort from the volunteers.
A local family runs the Mercy House food and clothing pantry of which includes two alumni of HHH West (Matthew and Jenine Yarmosh). A current student athlete of ours (Ben Vogt) became aware that Mercy House needed additional support this year and informed the coaches.
The coaches explained the cause and need to the team. Without hesitation the team accepted.
During the course of the event the team worked alongside other volunteers and provided support where it was needed. They were true leaders in the community!
