My name is Mike Prendergast. I am the head wrestling coach over at Hudson Falls.
The wrestling program is running a fundraiser to sell facemasks. We are doing this all through local businesses. These are hard times for everyone and we want to help these businesses that have sponsored and helped us throughout the years. We are purchasing them through Hallwear. Then, with the profit that we get, we are going to purchase gift cards from other local businesses and donate them into our backpack programs or wherever the district seems fit. The wrestling team isn’t making a dime. We just want to help out the community that has supported us throughout the years.
Everything is being done remotely. Tomorrow is when we have pick up for the facemask.
everything is running through social media and email. We sold 117 masks in 24 hours. And now we are going through a web store that ends June 1.
