About:
The Tewksbury Memorial High School Field Hockey team is proving that leadership extends far beyond the playing field. Recently, the Redmen players took time out of their schedules to give back to the community by helping out with local youth field hockey players.
With sticks in hand and smiles all around, the high school athletes shared their skills, encouragement, and love for the game. It was an afternoon filled with mentorship, teamwork, and inspiration—showing the younger athletes what it means to be part of the Tewksbury field hockey family.
For the high school players, it was a chance to reflect on how far they’ve come and to give back to the sport that has given them so much. For the youth, it was an unforgettable experience to learn from role models they look up to both on and off the field.
The Redmen didn’t stop there—they also showed their support for a great cause at the Making Strides Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, joining the community in raising awareness and funds to fight breast cancer. Their participation exemplifies how student-athletes can make a meaningful impact beyond athletics.
Moments like these highlight the true foundation of sports: building community, teaching life lessons, and inspiring the next generation to grow with confidence—one day at a time.
