About:
Trevor Green has dedicated his time to giving back to his community while balancing the demands of school and athletics. Through meaningful volunteer work, he has focused on honoring veterans, preserving history, and supporting environmental efforts.
Trevor volunteered more than 30 hours at the VFW Post 6249 Suffolk County WWII and History Museum in his hometown. There, he helped organize artifacts, weapons, veteran stories, and photographs of local and national armed forces members spanning from the Revolutionary War to the present day. Inspired by his cross-country coach, Trevor’s work reflects a deep appreciation for the sacrifices made by veterans and the importance of preserving their stories for future generations.
In addition to his work at the museum, Trevor also contributed to environmental sustainability efforts by collecting and returning empty bottles and cans to help reduce pollution, earning an additional 10 hours of community service.
Through his dedication to service, Trevor has accumulated a total of 40 volunteer hours, demonstrating leadership, responsibility, and a strong commitment to making a positive impact in his community.
