About:

Manor Oaks School participated in its 10th annual Turkey Trot and food drive, hosted by physical education teacher Lisa Santos, on Nov. 17.

Students participated in the Turkey Trot as a race or fun run, and they were encouraged to dress in Thanksgiving-themed costumes. Winners of the race and the costume contest were awarded with an extra gym class.

A food drive was held in conjunction with the trot. Due to the donations of students and staff, 21 local families in need received food for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.
