About:
On Thursday, May 8, the Southern Hills Varsity Girls Lacrosse team took the field at Tully High School for a special cause. The game, held at 6:00 p.m., was about more than competition, it was a powerful show of community, strength, and hope.
This year’s benefit game was dedicated to Camille, a beloved member of the program who is bravely battling Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. In her honor, the team rallied together to raise awareness and support her fight.
Student-athletes played a key role in promoting the event and the fundraising efforts, encouraging the community to come together and give back. Those wishing to contribute can still make a donation to Camille’s GoFundMe page here.
In addition to the benefit game, the team is planning a Cancer Awareness Day on May 19, continuing their commitment to standing together for those in need.
The Southern Hills Girls Lacrosse Program is proud to use its platform to uplift one of their own and to remind everyone that in the face of adversity, no one fights alone.
