About:

Our cheerleaders look forward to running this event every year! We host one in the fall, and one in the winter.
Around 20 of our cheerleaders volunteer to help at our summer one. Between vacations and work schedules, they sign up for the day and times that work best for them and we spread them evenly throughout our stations. We ask for Varsity cheerleaders, or JV returners. It takes a certain type of leader/maturity to be able to run the clinic.
It is a 4 day clinic, 2 hours/day. We split the youth clinic cheerleaders up by age, and they will go through 4 “stations”. Dance, jumps, stunting, and tumbling. Our cheerleaders are in charge of running every station on their own. They even make up the dance they teach that week, and put together a “mini routine” with their group to show off to parents on the last day. Between all the skills they will learn, we do fun name games, team building activities and other games to get to know each other and just have fun! The Youth clinic is made to build the bridge between youth cheer and high school cheer, but also to have some good old fashioned FUN at a summer camp with friends!!!
