Members of the Ward Melville Football team spent a powerful and heartfelt day volunteering at the Stony Brook Veterans Home, connecting with residents and honoring the legacy of those who have served our country.
The student-athletes had the opportunity to meet, speak with, and support local Veterans while taking part in a special program that included a moving performance by a military band. The visit coincided with Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, giving players a meaningful moment to pause, reflect, and learn from the stories and sacrifices of the heroes they were there to honor.
