About:
Warwick Lacrosse proudly kicked off its first annual Operation Toy Train on Sunday, December 14, coming together to support local families across Orange County during the holiday season. Despite cold temperatures and winter weather, players, families, and supporters showed up with generous hearts—braving the elements to make a meaningful difference.
Through the collective efforts of the Warwick Lacrosse community, dozens of toys and gifts were donated and loaded onto the train, where they will be distributed to local children in need. The event, held in partnership with Operation Toy Drive (Toys for Tots), helped provide children throughout the community with a brighter holiday season.
Approximately 50 Warwick Lacrosse members from grades K–12 participated in the event, donating toys and volunteering their time to help load the train for over an hour. Their enthusiasm, teamwork, and commitment to giving back were on full display throughout the morning.
This inaugural event reflects what Warwick Lacrosse is all about—teamwork, compassion, and using the power of sport to serve the community. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and supported this special initiative. Your willingness to give—no matter the weather—made this event a success and laid the foundation for what will hopefully become a cherished annual tradition.
