At Wayne Central, varsity teams are taking the opportunity to honor the teachers who’ve supported them throughout their high school journey. Both the volleyball and soccer teams recently hosted Teacher Appreciation games, where athletes selected special teachers to recognize during these events. This initiative highlights the strong bond between student-athletes and their educators, acknowledging the role teachers play both in and out of the classroom.
