Students student athletes and faculty members at Weber Middle School in the Port Washington School District held their third annual toy drive to benefit hospitalized children in the Winthrop University Hospital through State Senator Jack Martin’s annual toy drive.
Weber Middle School collected approximately 20 boxes of toys from Nov. 28 till Dec. 19. Some of the donations included board games, toy trucks, stuffed animals, dolls and action figures.
Members of Senator Martin’s staff collected all of the donations to bring to the hospital for distribution to young patients. Sixth-grade students and faculty from Weber’s yellow house were major contributors to the drive.
