The Webster Schroeder Girls Basketball team recently took time off the court to make a big impact in their community. The team spent a fun and fulfilling morning wrapping books as part of the “Give the Gift of Reading” initiative. Their hard work and care ensured that 80 books would find their way into the hands of some very special 2nd graders at Klem South Elementary School. 📚
With the spirit of giving in full swing, the players enjoyed the chance to spread joy and inspire a love of reading among young students. “It’s such a simple gesture, but knowing we can make these kids smile and encourage them to keep reading means everything to us,” the team shared.
