About:
The recent Webster vs. Webster lacrosse game was more than just a local rivalry—it was a powerful evening dedicated to raising awareness for the mental health of student-athletes through Morgan’s Message.
Hosted by the Webster Women’s Lacrosse Club (WWLC), the event brought together youth and high school players for a memorable night that celebrated the strength and unity of One Webster. From warm-ups to the final whistle, the focus remained on creating a supportive community that prioritizes mental well-being both on and off the field.
In addition to the on-field action, the evening was filled with meaningful moments honoring the mission of Morgan’s Message, which advocates for ending the stigma around student-athlete mental health. WWLC also took the opportunity to celebrate the future of the program by recognizing their rising youth athletes and fostering connections across age groups.
The game was a huge success in both spirit and purpose—a reminder that teamwork extends far beyond the scoreboard.
