Students at West Babylon Junior High School embraced the true spirit of the season by creating more than 150 heartfelt Thanksgiving cards for residents of the East Neck Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Each card was crafted with care, kindness, and warm wishes—offering a reminder to residents that they are remembered, appreciated, and supported during the holidays.
This thoughtful act of service brought together sixth graders in a meaningful way, encouraging gratitude, empathy, and community connection. Their effort not only brightened the day of local seniors but also showcased the powerful impact young people can have when they lead with compassion.
