About:
The Wheatley School Volleyball Program proudly hosted its annual Dig Pink event, bringing our community together for a night of purpose, unity, and powerful volleyball. This year’s event was our most impactful yet—thanks to the incredible generosity and spirit of our players, families, and supporters, we raised over $2,500 for the Side-Out Foundation.
The Dig Pink initiative supports vital stage IV breast cancer research and patient support programs. Each donation, baked good purchase, and show of support contributed to making a real difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by breast cancer.
Throughout the night, the gym was filled with vibrant pink energy from themed shirts and signs to heartfelt tributes and moments of reflection honoring those who have battled or continue to battle breast cancer. Our athletes played with passion and purpose, fully embracing the meaning behind the event.
This accomplishment is a testament to the strength of the Wheatley community. Parents, students, staff, and fans came together not just for volleyball, but for a cause that touches so many lives. Their participation and generosity embody what it means to use sport as a platform for compassion, awareness, and action.
Together, we’ve shown that when the Wheatley community rallies behind a cause, we create lasting impact both on and off the court.
