About:
Each player selected a teacher who had a significant impact on them, and wanted to recognize them prior to the game. The girls wrote a handwritten note to each of their teachers on a softball saying thank you, and we invited them to the game, presented them with the ball and a flower. It was a simple gesture to say thank you to some of the teachers from Whitman who mean a lot to our student athletes.
