About:

Each year, the Wilson girls’ field hockey program has a Pink Week.  During that week, announcements are read to raise awareness, the entire student body wears pink to school, and the team also has a Play for the Cure game.  The tradition continued this year, and the team raised $650 for the National Foundation for Cancer Research from various donations.  In addition to that, both the Varsity and Modified teams sold Mighty Niagara cards and raised $1600 to donate to Niagara Hospice.  Each player in the program was given a bunch of cards to sell.  The fundraiser was well received by the community.
