The Woodbury Boys Basketball program continued a meaningful holiday tradition this season, once again giving back through its annual donation to Toys for Tots.
Led by Coach Getzlaff, the team partnered with longtime community supporter Dr. Pelke and Woodbury Dental to collect and donate toys for children in need. This year’s effort resulted in the donation of more than 50 toys, helping bring joy to families during the holiday season.
The annual initiative highlights the strong relationship between Woodbury Hoops and its local community partners, as well as the program’s commitment to teaching student-athletes the importance of service and generosity. By coming together for a cause greater than basketball, players were reminded that leadership extends far beyond the court.
Traditions like this demonstrate how high school athletics can be a powerful force for good—strengthening community connections and making a real impact during the season of giving.
