About:
In the spirit of giving, Fire Island’s Woodhull Elementary School students from grades 2-6 recently visited the Bethany Hospitality INN Soup Kitchen in Central Islip, where they worked in service to the community.
During the visit, the school delivered the hygiene items generously donated by their families and prepared bag lunches decorated with their own personal messages. Additionally, Superintendent of Schools Loretta Ferraro and classroom teachers assisted along with the wonderful INN staff to package sandwiches for the establishments’ visitors.
