The Big Buddies program involves senior students mentoring incoming freshmen. This includes multiple meetings as well as seniors helping freshmen get acclimated to the HS with various tours and helping freshmen walk their schedules. A number of our football student-athletes were chosen for this prestigious community service opportunity.
In terms of support connection, our players have volunteered time to walk in their fundraiser. We also collect money at our annual “pink night” and that money is donated to support connection for breast cancer research.
Our players also did an enormous amount of volunteer hours for the YAC which is our youth football program. Some players put in upwards of 30-50 hours this summer assisting our youth football program.
