Photo Caption: Hampton Bays Elementary School students have raised $1,000 for the Southampton Animal Shelter as part of their first-grade Community Service Committee project. As part of the project, the students learned about the shelter, made posters and organized a fundraiser in which they sold bracelets, stamps and puppy ducks. The students who showed their love of animals and dedication to the cause also got to meet two shelter animals, Lily and Toby.
