On Saturday, April 4, the Molloy College men’s and women’s lacrosse teams hosted instructional clinics to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation at the Dean G. Skelos Sports Complex in Rockville Centre, N.Y.
The men’s lacrosse team was joined by members of the Viper Lacrosse Club. Molloy’s entire men’s lacrosse coaching staff as well as all the players helped to instruct the younger players in all aspects of the game. The women’s lacrosse squad welcomed in 50 girls from the Rockville Centre Lacrosse Club, ranging from grades 2-8. The clinic lasted an hour and a half. Just like the men’s team, the entire coaching staff and all the players from the Lions’ women’s lacrosse team helped out at the clinic.
All proceeds raised from these clinics are being sent to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in conjunction with the East Coast Conference’s initiative for this great cause.
