Molloy Softball Hosts “Strikeout Cancer Day”

April 21, 2015 By Team Up 4 Community

At the conclusion of Saturday’s softball doubleheader, which was “Strikeout Cancer Day,” Molloy College and Mercy College combined to record a total of 15 strikeouts on the afternoon. Many people have already sent in their donations, which are going to the National Foundation for Cancer Research. You can still send in your pledges/donations to help out this great cause. Please make all checks payable to: National Foundation for Cancer Research. We thank you for your support and generosity!

Checks can be dropped off to Head Softball Coach Susan Cassidy-Lyke in the Athletics Department in the basement of the Wilbur Arts Center on campus. Donations can also be mailed to:

Molloy College – Athletics Department
Attn: Susan Cassidy-Lyke
1000 Hempstead Avenue
Rockville Centre, N.Y. 11570

Molloy softball works in conjunction with the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Strikeout Cancer Program. For more information regarding the program, please click here.
