The women’s lacrosse team volunteered at the Laxin Against Eating Disorders Fall Lacrosse Tournament Sunday the 27th of September at Brookhaven Campus.
Protect HEAL and Just 4 Girls Lacrosse teamed up for the third consecutive year.
Project HEAL was co-founded by three teenage girls. Liana Rosenman, Kristina Saffran, & Becky Allen met while undergoing treatment for anorexia nervosa, helped each other to reach full recovery, and then wanted to help others achieve it as well. In the spring of 2008, they founded Project HEAL to raise money for others suffering with eating disorders who want to recover but are unable to afford treatment.
