The Shoreham-Wading River Cheer Team showed incredible generosity and school spirit this fall by hosting a passive fundraiser during a football game to support their upcoming Lax Out Cancer event.
This thoughtful effort helped raise awareness and early funds for the main Lax Out Cancer event, which will take place in May 2026 — a powerful community tradition that brings together SWR athletes, families, and supporters to honor and assist those affected by cancer.
