The Westwood Girls Soccer team recently visited the Westwood Senior Center for an extraordinary afternoon of connection and community. Players and their coach shared stories about their experiences as student-athletes, answered questions, and spent time getting to know the seniors.
The team especially enjoyed hearing the seniors’ stories and learning from their experiences. The visit was filled with laughter, meaningful conversations, and new friendships.
The players left feeling grateful for the opportunity to give back to their community and are excited to have a whole new group of fans cheering them on this season. It was a wonderful reminder of the power of community and the bonds that form when generations come together.
