The holiday season is a time for giving, and the Queensbury Spartans Hockey Club is once again stepping up to make a difference. With a strong commitment to community outreach, the team has kicked off a December Food Drive, inviting families, fans, and neighbors to join them in supporting local households in need.
Throughout the month of December, the Spartans are collecting non-perishable food items with a powerful goal: to deliver over 1,000 pounds of food to the Warren-Hamilton Counties Community Action organization in Glens Falls. At the end of the month, the team will personally visit the agency to help restock its shelves—right when many families need it most.
This initiative is more than a collection effort. It’s a reflection of the Spartans’ dedication to service, leadership, and teamwork off the ice. By engaging their community and rallying around a shared mission, they continue to show what it means to be student-athletes making a positive impact.
