About:
The Levittown Soccer Club is making every save count—on and off the field.
In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, teams came together for a powerful initiative supporting Katie’s Save. For every save made by their goalkeepers during the weekend’s matches, the club pledged to make a donation—transforming game-day moments into meaningful impact.
This creative effort not only encouraged strong play in goal but also helped raise awareness around the importance of mental health, a topic that continues to grow in importance within youth sports and communities nationwide.
By linking athletic performance to a greater cause, players, coaches, and families rallied together to support mental health initiatives and make a difference beyond the scoreboard. The campaign also invited the broader community to get involved, with donations being accepted through May 10.
Initiatives like this highlight how sports can serve as a platform for awareness, compassion, and action. Through their efforts, Levittown Soccer is showing that every save can help support a bigger goal—raising awareness and providing resources for those who need it most.
