The Rocky Point High School Lacrosse community is coming together for a meaningful day of remembrance, support, and unity during Rocky Point Mike Bowler Day.
Held at Rocky Point High School, the event honors the life and legacy of Michael P. Bowler through a full day of lacrosse games, community activities, and fundraising efforts that bring athletes, families, alumni, and supporters together.
The day features varsity, junior varsity, middle school, and youth lacrosse games, showcasing the strong connection between every level of the Rocky Point lacrosse program. Beyond the action on the field, attendees are invited to participate in raffles, apparel sales, concessions, and an evening memorial fundraiser at J&R’s Steakhouse.
Proceeds from the event will support the Rocky Point Lacrosse Booster Club while also helping fund the Sean & Michael P. Bowler Scholarship Fund, continuing a legacy of support and opportunity for student-athletes in the community.
Events like Mike Bowler Day demonstrate the powerful role athletics can play in honoring loved ones, strengthening community bonds, and creating lasting impact far beyond the game itself.
