The Kasson-Mantorville varsity football team is showing that leadership goes far beyond the football field.
On September 4, members of the KM Football team started their morning by welcoming elementary and middle school students with big smiles, high fives, and plenty of KoMet spirit.
By taking time to greet younger students as they arrived at school, the varsity players had an opportunity to serve as positive role models and help make the start of the school day a little brighter.
These simple moments can have a lasting impact. Younger students get to interact with athletes they look up to, while the older students learn the importance of leadership, connection, and giving back to their school community.
It is another great example of student-athletes using their platform to inspire others and strengthen the #KoMetFAMILY.
