About:
The Rosemount Irish Football program is kicking off the season with more than football on its mind. The team is once again using its platform to support the fight against cancer through its Tackle Cancer initiative.
As part of an exciting opening week for the Irish, Rosemount is selling special Tackle Cancer T-shirts, with proceeds supporting the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund.
The fundraiser reflects the program’s commitment to the “Power of One” — showing how players, coaches, families, and fans can come together to make a meaningful difference in their community.
Rosemount’s week also includes its first home game against Eastview on September 11, along with Youth Night and a pregame tailgate celebration. But alongside all of the excitement surrounding the season, the team is making sure community impact remains an important part of the program.
At Team Up 4 Community, we love seeing student-athletes use sports as a vehicle for service. Rosemount Football’s support of Tackle Cancer demonstrates how an entire athletic community can rally around a cause that touches so many families.
We look forward to learning more about this year’s Tackle Cancer campaign, the student-athletes involved, and the impact the Rosemount Irish hope to make.
