About:
Hanover High School student Addison Hill, Class of 2030, recently brought her community together through a meaningful service project honoring the 25th anniversary of September 11.
As part of her work with Project 351, Addison invited Hanover residents to paint patriotic rocks in remembrance of the victims of 9/11 and in recognition of members of the military, veterans, firefighters, police officers, EMTs and others who serve their communities and country.
On September 9, Addison visited the Hanover Fire Department to present the completed project. The painted rocks will remain on display at the department as a lasting symbol of unity, gratitude, service and remembrance.
The project encouraged residents of all ages to participate, creating a community-wide tribute while helping preserve the importance of September 11 for a new generation.
Through her leadership and compassion, Addison demonstrated how one student can inspire others to come together around service and remembrance.
