High school cheerleading teams came together on October 25 for the Power in Pink Invitational, combining athletic competition, school spirit, and community service to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The special event brought together student-athletes from multiple high schools, including Dedham High School, to showcase their cheerleading skills while raising awareness and funds for individuals and families affected by breast cancer.
Together, the participating teams made a $2,500 donation to the Ellie Fund, demonstrating the positive impact student-athletes can make when they unite around a cause greater than competition.
