Lincoln-Sudbury Football Supports Domestic Violence Awareness Through MVP Club Initiative

Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School brought attention to an important cause on October 9, 2026, as the Warriors hosted Wayland High School for a special football game supporting Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The event highlighted an initiative led by the school’s Mentors in Violence Prevention (MVP) Club, encouraging students, families, and community members to wear purple in recognition of domestic violence awareness.

Warriors Wear Purple for a Cause

The MVP Club’s initiative used the football game as an opportunity to promote awareness, encourage meaningful conversations, and bring the school community together in support of those affected by domestic violence.

By inviting fans to wear purple, the students helped spread an important message about respect, healthy relationships, and standing together against violence.

Making an Impact Beyond the Field

Through this awareness initiative, Lincoln-Sudbury students demonstrated how leadership and community involvement can extend beyond the classroom and athletic field.

The collaboration between the MVP Club and the football program highlighted the positive impact students can make when they use school events to bring attention to important social issues.
