About:
The Avon High School Girls Volleyball program continued its annual Pink Out tradition on October 27, 2026, bringing student-athletes, families, and community supporters together for an evening dedicated to raising breast cancer awareness.
The Falcons welcomed Hall High School for a special night of volleyball, using the occasion to highlight an important cause while celebrating teamwork and school spirit.
Volleyball Teams Unite for a Cause
The Pink Out event featured Avon’s Freshman, Junior Varsity, and Varsity volleyball teams, providing an opportunity for athletes across multiple grade levels to participate in the annual tradition.
The evening’s schedule included Freshman and JV matches at 5 p.m., followed by the Varsity matchup against Hall at 6 p.m.
Avon Athletics encouraged the school community to attend and support both the volleyball teams and the meaningful cause behind the event.
A Tradition of Raising Awareness
Breast Cancer Awareness Month provides an opportunity for athletic programs to bring attention to a disease that affects individuals and families throughout their communities.
Through its annual Pink Out game, Avon Volleyball continues to demonstrate how high school sports can serve as a platform for awareness, compassion, and community involvement.
The event also reinforces the importance of student-athletes coming together for a purpose that extends beyond competition.
Making an Impact Beyond the Court
Avon Volleyball’s annual Pink Out is a wonderful example of how student-athletes can use athletics to support important causes and inspire their communities.
By continuing this tradition, the Falcons demonstrate that teamwork is about more than winning matches. It is also about standing together, supporting others, and making a positive difference.
