The Chenango Forks High School Volleyball team concluded its season by giving back to an important cause, presenting a $500 donation to the UHS Breast Cancer Center during its annual team banquet on October 27, 2026.
The donation, made possible through the combined efforts of the volleyball program and its booster club, demonstrated the team’s commitment to supporting breast cancer awareness and making a positive impact beyond the court.
Celebrating a Season of Giving Back
The team’s end-of-season banquet provided an opportunity to recognize more than athletic accomplishments. Alongside celebrating the volleyball season, the players and booster club came together to support individuals and families affected by breast cancer.
During the event, representatives from the UHS Breast Cancer Center, Ashlyn and Amelia, attended to accept the $500 contribution.
The presentation highlighted the importance of community partnerships and the positive difference student-athletes can make when they unite around a meaningful cause.
Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness
The UHS Breast Cancer Center provides specialized breast health services to individuals in the Southern Tier region of New York.
By directing their donation to a local healthcare organization, Chenango Forks Volleyball demonstrated its commitment to supporting a cause that affects families throughout the community.
