Islip High School recently hosted its annual “pink game” volleyball fundraiser to support breast cancer awareness, with proceeds going to the Islip Breast Cancer Coalition. Both the varsity and junior varsity teams swept West Babylon 3-0 during the games held at the school’s decorated gym, while students held bake sales and sported pink apparel.
“The “pink game” is now an Islip volleyball tradition,” said Natalie DeSena. “It an amazing opportunity to give back to the Islip community and special cause year after year.”
