A thankful Thoughtful Thursday

November 23, 2020 By Team Up 4 Community Leave a Comment

Students at Central Boulevard Elementary School in the Bethpage School District created gratitude-themed placements for local senior citizens to celebrate Thoughtful Thursday on Nov. 19. First through fifth graders read books about giving thanks, and then brainstormed what they are grateful for. They wrote messages of gratitude on the placemats, which will be laminated and sent to local nursing homes ahead of Thanksgiving.
