About:
We are a middle school club that meets twice monthly after school to work on community based projects. Our most recent activity was our school wide food drive to help families in our school. We started our collection in October and asked all homerooms to donated specific food items. We also did a Turkey Trot during lunch period to raise addition money for turkeys. Along with the food and money collected and a donation from Stew Leonards, we were able for provide food for 29 families in the community. Other projects we work on are providing holiday gifts for the Winthrop Dialysis Center, donating to the Faith Mission in Mineola and collecting for LLS Pennies for Patients.
