About:
Long Island Junior Soccer League Inc. (LIJSL) is a 501c3 youth soccer organization that serves 101 community member clubs from Queens to Sag Harbor with over 60,000 players ages 3 to 19. We have a program for all levels from the premier player to the recreational player including a TOPSoccer Special Children's program with over 300 players that have physical or mental disabilities. Last year we give 27 graduating high school seniors scholarships. We have over 24 programs for our players and coach's and we encourage community service, our soccer park were teams from all over LI play each weekend encourages teams to bring non-perishable food that we donate to LI Cares, we host an Estee Lauder Breast cancer Tournament each year to raise funds. Our website administrator sends an email to all our coaches at the end of September encouraging them to have their team in some way raise awareness and or funds for Breast Cancer, they send in pictures of their teams and we do a video that we poet on our site.
