Bellmore School District students learned through the Bellmore Stars Character Education program that part of being a leader is helping others and, that together, they can make a difference in the world. Throughout the month, Shore Road, Winthrop Avenue and Charles A. Reinhard Early Childhood Center students hosted food collections and a coat drive to benefit struggling families in the community.
