With Autism Acceptance Month just around the corner, Bethpage students from Central Boulevard Elementary School signed their names to a large Autism Acceptance infinity sign in the school’s lobby. The sign, which represents inclusion, will be displayed at the Bethpage Union Free School District’s annual Autism Acceptance Faculty Dodgeball Tournament on April 2 to showcase the students’ support.
The dodgeball tournament will be held at Bethpage High School at 7 p.m. and will feature a team of faculty members from each Bethpage school. District administrators will serve as referees. All proceeds from the tournament will be donated to Bethpage students who attend the extended school year (ESY) program in the summer.
